About- Tatsunes never stray too far from their mother while they are young, knowing that could mean certain death. In their state, their only defenses are their claws, teeth, horn, and beak, seeing as they don't have any flames yet, making them targets for large carnivores. The older pack members bring them food while they are only several months old, but after a while, their mothers make them find their own food, only sharing if the need is critical. They do this to teach the young Tatsunes how to hunt and survive on their own. After they become adults, they then share food with the rest of the pack. Tatsunes have long, narrow beaks so that they can prey upon burrowing pokemon easier than if their beaks looked like those of Maetuses. They are taught to fly when they are about 6 months old. As soon as they can fly, they start sitting in trees, as it is a safe spot where they can easily search for food. They are completely independent of their mother at 12 months old. At that point, they can choose whether to leave their pack or to stay, hopefully rising in the ranks. They are usually playful and loyal, making them excellent pets.
Area Found- Valleys, where they can easily find burrows and reach the mountains if needed.

About- Maetuse tend to live in packs and have a very structured hierarchy (like wolves in roleplays :3). There beaks have grown shorter since they've grown larger than a Tatsune and don't need to feed off of burrowing animals. Instead, they go for larger prey, such as Stantler and similar pokemon, though sometimes go after pidgey and murkrow. Also, since they are larger, they cannot sit in most trees anymore, and therefore start roosting in cliffs.They are more dangerous to prey pokemon than Mighteyena, as they can fly and have fiery wings and tails, but will avoid hurting humans, afraid of what they will do to them. Their wings, mane, ankles, and tails have gained fire, for defense and attracting mates. They can control the flames rather well, making them small or even nonexistent in a forest or large and hazardous if fighting or gaining the females' favor. Unless needed, a Maetuse having no flames is a sign of weakness/ submissiveness.

When in captivity, they usually have a mellow demeanor, being very kind to most humans (unless trained to guard) and extremely loyal to their owners. They also make great guard dogbirds due to their razor sharp teeth and selectively deadly flames.
