Description
Watchar over-all resembles a platypus and is based around the story of the platypus being the parts of many animals sewn together as an elaborate joke. Watchar comes from ‘water’ and ‘char’, a type of fish. It’s also a pun of the slang “watcha”, meaning ‘what are you’.

About
Watchar are known for their head-to-head offensive power and stubborn mindset. Due to this they make for a powerful opponent despite their small size and lack of status moves. The fin on the top of their head is said to be able to pick up vibrations in water and use their tails to cling to rocks in fast moving water so they won’t be swept away.

Pokedex Entry
When defending their territory, Watchar splash their tails on the surface of water to warn the intruder.

Description
Watanoy resemble water spirits and lake monsters. It has a kinked tail and large fin on the top of its head that can use sonar. It has webbed feet and hands and a bubble or foam-like collar around its neck. Watanoy comes from ‘Water’ and ‘Lukwata’ and ‘Vodyanoy’, two legendary creatures that inhabit lakes.

About
Watanoy are extremely territorial, performing violent dances and shows of dominance when their territory is encroached upon by those it sees as a threat. A single Watanoy can claim and defend an entire good-sized lake for itself and family. Towards family and those they have grown attached to they are very protective pokemon.

Pokedex Entry
When a Watanoy is angered, its tail will straighten out and be slapped against the ground or water.
