Wow I can hardly believe that it's been a Year since I decided to try my hand at the Site, Laokia. I came across the site when I was browsing the Advertising board on a Site known as Celtic region, Sadly that site is now dead. I was greeted with the term Newfish, Which I soon found out it meant newbie in laokian Terms. I was quickly shown around by Jester, a mod who eventually Disappeared.
It was Christmas holidays, so I didn't have school the following day. Which meant I could secretly stay up until three in the morning on my laptop in my room. With this I had managed to Speed through Nirvan lab and get half way through my route one post. Then I disappeared myself, Only to return less than a month later. It was my Nineteenth birthday the day I returned. The site seemed to fall dead.
I stuck to the Site for several months when things actually began to pick up. A had several goals. One to get my character past route one, but that didn't happen. On main goal was to gain Neko's Trust. She gave me a job several months ago, To watch the chat box and Report any Conflicts to her. Luckily for everyone I didn't have to call upon her.
It was a matter of Sticking to the site while I was attending college at the same time. Summer came and went, I've deiced not to go back for the second year, but instead to work for a while. In turn I had MUCH more time. So I began to offer myself out for service. Then came the Site work. Ash had posted that Moderators were needed and trial mods should apply for a higher Moderator position, So I did. BOY did I get more than I bargained for. That day I became a Global Moderator.
I did Some site work, and well I've spoken out more than I need to. Now what you've all been waiting for, Your Gifts. Please post here so I know you've claimed your Gifts.
