Welcome to Ilyria: a frosty region blanketed in white and where a chill breeze penetrates right to the bone. Despite the harsh and uncomfortable atmosphere, Ilyria is, essentially, a nice place. Though what you bring to it is down to you.
We are a friendly, small (very small and new at the moment) community that focuses on the art of storytelling, character building and adventure shaping, rather than the hack and slash nature of most Pokémon RPs. Our stories are immersible, fully interactive, interesting and 100% customisable.
~what sets us apart~
The website is run with a modified version of the d20 dice roller code. What this means, to you normal folks, is that when you run into something that requires luck or skill to get through, you will roll our unique on-site dice to see whether or not you succeeded, or what the consequence was.
An example of that would be if you suspected a character of slipping a nasty substance into your food you could either roll to detect what it is (the chance of success would be heightened if your character had a lot of Cooking skill points, or if they had the Culinary Genius trait) or alternatively they could roll to see if they can successfully switch plates with that character without being noticed (success increases if you have the Sleight of Hand trait or perhaps a lot of Thievery skill points).
In Ilyria you can be a hero, a criminal on the run, a Pokémon trying to find their way home or, of course, a dedicated trainer aiming to get to the top of the league and become Champion.
You can be whatever you want, you can react to situations however you want, and your adventure begins as soon as you click on the link.
