~If the opponent is asleep, Kingu is unable to attack, but gains 2hp for every turn the opponent is asleep~
Description-
-Male-
The male Kingu looks alot like the female. It is long and thin, and bears two heads. The head on its tail eats rubbish, and the main head, with the dominant brain, eats small mammals, fish, and some berries. It has long, poisonous fangs that it uses to paralyze its prey before eating it. Unlike the female's second head, their second head eats rubbish, not berries.
The only difference between the male and female is a flashy yellow spot between two blue teardrop-shaped markings.
-Female-
The female lacks that flashy yellow marking, but their blue markings and eyes are the deepest shades of blue and most beautiful. Compared to a male Kingu, their blue markings are bursting with color and life, while the male's blue markings seem... Quite dull. Female Kingu are also much neater, licking their scales like a cat does, just to keep them shiny. Their second head also eats soft berries, not rubbish.
*About-
The Kingu have a rather odd way of attracting mates and mating. The male Kingu use their flashy yellow marking to reflect moonlight, which causes the marking to glow blindingly. This also has an odd effect on the snake itself. The kingu begins to shimmer, and as it shimmers, it writhes around. This appears to turn the snake a pure white with a glowing yellow blotch on their hood, giving it the appearance of evolution. But really, its merely acting as a beacon to attract females.
Some of the rookie males, or, young ones that don't know what they're doing, are also drawn to this beacon. They try to copy the older Kingu, and if the older one notices, it becomes a fight. Usually, the more experianced Kingu wins, but every one in twenty the younger one wins.
Kingu like to eat. They aren't like other snakes, who eat once every few weeks while they digest their meal. Kingu have to eat daily, or face starvation. Their eating habits are odd as well. Say one catches a feathery bird. No matter HOW hungry that Kingu is, it will pluck every single feather off of that bird before it even takes a bite out of it.
Another thing about their eating habits is this. If they were to catch a scrawny mouse, they wouldn't swallow it whole... They'd bite out of it, chew, swallow, reapeat, like most mammals. The only things they don't chew are berries, which they skin with their toung and swallow before spitting the skin out. Ew. Even more disgusting is the fact that the head on their tail eats rubbish.... Well, the male's tail-heads do. The female's second head eats berries.
Believe it or not, Kingu are water snakes. Whether it be freshwater or saltwater, they love to be near liquid.
Area Found-
Unbearably hot canyons and deserts. Occasionally at an oasis, but they'll always be taking a drink, or be sleeping, coiled up in the shade or in the shallows. They are found in both regions, in uber hot, tropical, or watery climates, seeing as they are a kind of water snake.
Egg Group-
Ground
Pokedex Entry-
