H[/font]yren was a prosperous land. An island several hundred kilometers south-west of the region of Kanto, it was both a very populous and well-known tourist attraction as it was a trainer's haven, harboring hundreds upon thousands of species of Pokemon that thrived in the various environments that the Island was home to.
In fact, that was one of the most peculiar things about Hyren. This Island, while rather large [being two hundred kilometers from north tip to south and a hundred and seventy from east to west], did not have any dominant weather or ecosystem. In fact, the Island of Hyren was divided into eleven regions based upon ecosystem. The reason it was so popular with Pokemon trainers was that within half an hour you could go from desert to ice age, consequently discovering all sorts of Pokemon.
Then everything went wrong.

Hyren is a PG-13, advanced RP that gives way to a new dawn in Pokemon RPing. Instead of the usual "Travel around the region" we have something else, people can still travel but not all threads are moderated by RPG Moderators. We have Free RP which is where a group of two or more people RP together, but of course we still have our moderators on standby in case anyone needs an RPG Mod for an adventure thread.

What makes this RPG different is the fact that you don't have to go through areas one at a time, and instead you can just take a train [metro] to whichever area you like... But these areas aren't incredibly developed, and need to be explored! Perhaps one of the cooler aspects of Hyren is that you can build places, destroy things, etc. If you somehow manage to get a bomb and destroy a mountain, then [Mount Dove] might become [Shambles of a Mountain]. If you want to build a town in the Tundra, feel free to, with some help, and you've got [Snowflake Village], where once, there was nothing. On top of that, feel free to be a Trainer, Breeder or Coordinator. We've got a pretty elaborate battle system, but if you don't want to play with all the numbers, you can battle just like in every other RPG to keep things simple.
We're really just starting out but we have high hopes! Please help us grow, and at least check us out!
