This is a Yu-Gi-Oh rp site that is based off on the game, Yu-Gi-Oh, Duelist of the Roses. It has only been up for a week, so don't let the current lack of activity shy you away from here.
Prelude: It all started when the leader of the Red Rose, Yugi Moto, used the power of the eight red rose cards to summon the legendary Rose Duelist, in hopes that he can turn the tides of the battle. As the Rose Duelist was summoned, Seto Kaiba, leader of the White Rose, appeared and offered the Rose Duelist a spot in the roster of his faction. [This is when the player of the game chooses which side he or she will support, since it doesn't make a difference in the story, just treat this line as 'And the Rose Duelist joined <blank> faction.]
Eventually, the Rose Duelist succeeded in obtaining all 16 rose cards. He took the cards and arrived at Stonehenge, and Manawyddan, a Card Guardian, was summoned. After defeating the Guardian, the Rose Duelist opted to go back to his own time, thinking that the war of the roses has been settled.
Summary: Following the events of Duelist of the Roses, after the fabled Rose Duelist heads back to his time, war erupted throughout the lands. Now, in the year 2000, there are four different factions. The Red Roses, also known as the Red Enforcers, has spread conquered a lot of territories, although their forces are spread out so thinly that a well aimed strike could cripple them. The White Roses, aka the Rose Crusaders, do not have much territories, and is currently struggling to defending their lands. The Green Roses, known also as Nature, have the fewest territories, and their main goal is to collect all the rose cards to bring about world peace. Lastly, there are the Blue Roses, known as the Shrouded Ones. Few information is known about them, and one has to be in their group to even know what they are planning.
With four factions, there are, of course, four different colored of rose cards, which makes collecting them even more of a challenge than before. However, should one collect a complete set of rose cards, his or her faction will receive a bonus that could potentially cripple the other factions.
A word from our staff: We hope that you will join our site, and have a good time there. Thanks for taking your time reading this post. Also, you do not need to know how to play Yu-Gi-Oh, the staff will be happy to give you a tutorial if needed.
