This is just temporary; A lot of it needs to be re-done, but there should not be any major changes to the rules. I will be sure to inform everyone if there is!

Character Rules
Your Character can be one of three species classes. For each class there are special rules and guidelines, and each has their own special perks and abilities. Please read this carefully when deciding what species your character should be.
Human:
Humans are perhaps the most basic of character species you can choose from. They do not have any special “powers” or “abilities” in the sense that the other two species classes do. However, they each have their own specialties, and it is surprising how well humans can cope with different situations without any of the “powers” of the other two. Of course, like any living species, humans CAN die.
Humans have many different profession options. Each one has its own rules and requirements. The professions are Trainer, Breeder, Coordinator, Ranger, Academy Student, Professor, Gym Leader, Nurse/Doctor, Police Officer, Gym Leader, Special Agent, and Researcher.
Poke'morph:
Poke’morphs are abnormal mixes of Pokemon and human. While they can be born naturally, or born with a genetic mutation that gives them the genes of a Pokemon, they are usually created by genetic alteration in a scientific lab (illegally, of course). Depending on the percentage of human and Pokemon DNA in them, they have different "powers" and/or "abilities", as well as different available professions. Like any other living species, Poke'morphs CAN die.
Human > Pokemon:
Generally share most qualities with humans, with slight physical evidence of their Pokemon part, and sometimes none at all. Depending on the Pokemon, these morphs can have subtle, sometimes more pronounced, abilities from their Pokemon genes. These can included (but are not limited to) increased speed, endurance, and heightened senses. Rarely, but occasionally, they have some power specific to the Pokemon. These Poke’morphs can have any profession that humans can, but cannot substitute themselves for one of their Pokemon, or battle (unless in desperate situations) with the aid of their abilities/powers. These morphs CANNOT be captured.
Human = Pokemon
These Poke’morphs can lean either way, appearing to be more human or more Pokemon. However, they are equally both in genes. They generally have much greater senses than humans, as well as speed and endurance. They have a much higher chance of knowing some powers of their Pokemon part, but generally not offensive powers, tending to be more practical in nature. There may be exceptions, but they generally cannot take the place of one of their Pokemon or battle (again, unless desperate). They can have any of the professions of normal humans. These morphs CAN be captured, but ONLY with a Master Ball (and only if the CREATOR allows it).
Human < Pokemon
Generally share most qualities with the Pokemon whose genes they have, with slight physical evidence of their human part, and sometimes, but very rarely, none at all. Depending on the Pokemon, these morphs have many of their abilities and powers, including attacks (offensive, defensive, and simply practical) and abilities that can affect other Pokemon, and greater speed, endurance, and senses. These Poke’morphs can only have the professions of Trainer, Coordinator, Academy Student, and Rescue Team Leader/Member. If they become a Trainer or coordinator, they can choose a Pokemon partner, or count themselves as one of their team. If they become an Academy Student, they can learn and participate in activities like he other students, or choose instead to help train the students by battling with them and teaching them a greater respect for Poke’morphs from an early age. If they choose to be a Rescue Team Leader/Member, they must talk to the resident Professor of the region (or aide, in Kevin's case) and prove themselves capable, or meet up with and join an existing team. These pokemorphs CAN be captured (but ONLY if the CREATOR allows it).
Pokemon:
Pokemon characters are more unique than humans and Poke’morphs. Basically, as a Pokemon, there are four things your character can do. Each of these shall be described in more detail below. Pokemon characters can generally be any Pokemon, shiny or non-shiny, evolved or un-evolved (exceptions will be listed), and Pokemon splices, so long as they are not recognized as unique speices, and can have unique re-colorations (this is subject to change). You must ask the Admin (via PM) to be a legendary Pokemon, an Espeon/Umbreon, or Angel/Demon/Marine/Shadow Pokemon. For Pokemon that can be captured, you can either continue to play your Pokemon character (what they are doing if in their ball, and like you would with any other travelling Partner, the exception being that you are the one battling, if out of your ball), or you can give control of your Pokemon character over to the captor. You MUST ask and get PERMISSION before allowing any of your other characters capture one of your own Pokemon characters (you will likely not be allowed). Pokemon characters can only be captured if BOTH parties agree. Of course, like any other living being, Pokemon CAN die.
Wild Pokemon (Specific Area):
Pokemon character can be wild and dwell in a specific area. Generally for this option, a Pokemon will be found in that area and start out at the lowest level in the level range of that area. They can travel to surrounding areas but generally will not stray too far form home. They can evolve and grow to levels higher than the max level of the area where they live. They can also be captured, and in such a case will travel with a trainer, but still RP themselves. However, if you do not wish to be captured, you can flee from battle, or discuss it with the other character's RPer (via PM please). They can jump into any member's thread that is travelling through their area or in directly surrounding areas.
Wild Pokemon (Wandering):
Pokemon characters are wild, but rather than dwelling in a specific area, they travel from place to place. They start out at the beginning, in the first required area, not counting the lab (or Professor's field in Aryll's case). They can be any Pokemon, even evolved, but begin at level five. They level up like normal, albeit with a slightly different experience system. As with wild Pokemon living in a specific area, they can be captured, as well as can jump into another members thread, but only if they are in that area at that time.
Academy Pokemon:
As an Academy Pokemon, your character can either be one of the wild Pokemon, that students train against and/or capture, or one of the Academy's own Pokemon, that student's can practice using as their own in battle (in which case, you would be able to RP in a special section with other such Pokemon until you are needed). Or, you could be one of the Pokemon raised by the Academy, to learn rules and become stronger, at which time, you begin at level one.
Rescue Team Leader/Member:
Your Pokemon character can either lead a new Rescue Team or join an existing one. This profession can be chosen at any time at any Ranger Station, or when meeting a team, or your character can start out with that profession at the lab. If starting out from the lab, character will be level five. For the other two ways to have or join a rescue team, the Pokemon character must be wild and decide to go for that profession choice. Can be any Pokemon, though evolved and legendary are less likely to be accepted.
