That's right! Laokia V2 will soon be ONE YEAR OLD! Don't mind the "Forum Age" at the bottom of the main page. It is incorrect. Laokia will officially turn one on Dec 22, 2007, at 12:55am!! I just made this thread now to prevent people from jumping the gun and thinking that I forgot, or that I am not planning on doing something for it. THAT'S LOCO! XD I COULD NEVER FORGET! xP
So, when I have the time... I shall post a big announcement here. Expect it, probably, Wednesday ^-^ That will be when I have no more HW and have had some sleep, hopefully. Till then... YOU SHALL ALL BE LEFT IN SUSPENSE! ^_~

Alright, here is my post concerning the event! ....I wrote it in school, so ENJOY! -flees-
Yeah, so, it was recently brought to my attention that Laokia's birthday is coming up! Well, at least V2's. The original Laokia was created nearly TWO years ago, so there may be a celebration then as well!
Anyway, this is a big deal because the first six months are normally crucial for an RP, and a lot of them die out long before them, or never kick off. But Laokia has reached 12 months, exactly ONE YEAR as of the 22nd. As it is such a big deal, you can expect that what will be done will be HUGE. However, it will have to be a little different than our usual celebrations and giveaways... (namely because we have, what, two riddiculously enourmous ones this month already) but, also because it is such a landmark event!
I am posting this a little early to give you all a heads up. I am aware that not everyone will be here on the 22nd, so I am not making his a one-day deal. The event itself will begin on the 19th, and will last through New Years. During this time, experience and friendship points will DOUBLE, and rarer Pokemon will become more common (keep in mind that you DO NOT have to partake of the doubled EXP and Friendship points; if you wish not to do so, please CLEARLY state so before or after these have been awarded in OOC in your post. As an added bonus, experience and Friendship points awarded will TRIPLE, a new Pokemon will be added tot he dex, and a New skin will be created on both the 22nd and on New Years Day. During the whole couple weeks of the event, work will be done for Laokia, among other small (or big) surprises. Look forward to new areas, new NPC plot characters, new Pokemon, new Additions, revelations in the plot, advancement in the plot, new installments in my fan-fic, plus many other much-needed and planned for stuff.
So, all good right? Hopefully December will bring the pick up that Laokia needs after my recent absenses and laziness. Granted, I will not be spending all my time on Laokia, as doing so I believe is what caused my lack of muse and motivation. I shall be taking breathing breaks, to read or to play video games most likely. I do not forsee me spending less time online for a while after Christmas though... those video games shall be tempting me for a while xD I shall most likely be on on Christmas Day (and Eve)... to wait hours for my parents to wake up so my sister and I can open presents. Afterr I get my hands on those games though... Well, rest assured that I shall NOT forsake Laokia, and will continue work ont he site!
